How It Started
Built by a Family, for Families
REC Residential Electricians started the way most great family businesses do — with a husband and wife, a van, and a commitment to doing things right. In the early 2000s, they set out to build an electrical company that Seattle-area homeowners could actually trust: one that showed up on time, explained the work clearly, and charged a fair price.
Word spread. Jobs turned into referrals. Referrals turned into a reputation. Over twenty years later, that reputation has grown into one of the most trusted residential electrical companies in King, Pierce, and Thurston Counties.
Now their sons work alongside them — certified electricians in their own right — joined by a full 10-man team of Washington State licensed electricianswho share the same commitment to craft and honesty that built the company. The faces have multiplied, but the values haven't changed. Every job is still personal. Every customer still matters.
We are based in the South Seattle areaand know this region inside and out — the climate, the soil, the utility systems, the inspection offices, and the neighborhoods. We're not a franchise dispatching strangers to your door. We're your neighbors.
